Just realized the Old Town parking app is a trap, cash is faster

Everyone said use the ParkABQ app downtown so I tried it on a Saturday near the plaza. Waited 4 minutes for it to load while a meter took my coins in 10 seconds. Has anyone else ditched the app for actual quarters around Central?

I had the same thing happen by the Golden Crown Panaderia on 4th, except the app logged me out and made me re-enter my card twice. Now I keep a ziplock of quarters in my glove box and I'm done in under 30 seconds. The only time I still open the app is when I know I'll be parked for over two hours and the meter won't cover it.
