The guy at the dog park on Tramway called my dog 'boring' and it stuck with me for weeks
I have a 3 year old lab mix named Rusty who mostly just sniffs other dogs and sits by my feet, and I always figured that was fine. About a month ago at the dog park off Tramway, this older guy with a hyper aussie looked at Rusty and said 'he needs a job, that dog is bored out of his mind.' I brushed it off that day, but I kept thinking about how Rusty never gets excited about anything and just sleeps all afternoon. So I started doing 10 minutes of hide and seek with treats in the yard every morning, and within 2 weeks he was actually waiting by the door and wagging when I grabbed the bag. Has anyone else had a stranger point out something about their dog that actually turned out to be true?
