Spent $260 on a cheap ring light, then a 12 second clip of my cat went wild

I mean, I bought this ring light for $260 about 4 months ago because I figured it would help with product photos for my little Etsy thing. Turned out the light was too harsh for that, but my cat jumped on the table one night, knocked it over, and the shadow it made on the wall looked like a weird monster. I posted that 12 second clip on a whim, just laughing at the shape. Next morning it had like 400k views and people were asking who the 'cat monster' was. Got interviewed by some local news channel in Portland last week. The light itself has been laying in my closet for 3 months now. Has anyone else had a random purchase become the reason they got noticed way more than the thing they bought it for?

Oh man, that's amazing. I bought a $30 fog machine for a Halloween party years ago and it broke after like one use, but the cat knocking it over and disappearing into a cloud of smoke got more laughs than anything I've ever done. Still have that stupid thing in my garage, never once used it for what I bought it for. The universe has a weird sense of humor, I swear.
