Saw a mattress store ad in Sacramento that has a guy fake napping for 30 seconds straight
I was sitting in a Jiffy Lube waiting room in Sacramento last month when this mattress commercial came on the little TV. For a full 30 seconds it was just a guy in a suit fake snoring on a bed while a phone number slowly faded in, no music, no voiceover. I actually watched the whole thing because I kept waiting for the punchline and it never came. Then the next ad was a normal loud car dealer spot and I felt weirdly relieved. Does anyone know if that silent snoozing ad actually sells mattresses, or is it just a local thing that only works because it confuses you into remembering the name?
