Pro tip: I stopped greasing my air fryer basket after reading the manual on page 12
I always brushed oil on my air fryer basket before every batch of fries because I thought it would stop sticking. Last week I was bored and actually read the manual that came with my Cosori, and on page 12 it says the basket is nonstick and greasing it can actually make food stick more over time. I tried plain frozen fries with no oil spray at 400 degrees for 12 minutes, and they slid right out with zero mess. The manual also said a light spray of oil on the food itself helps browning way more than oiling the basket. I have done chicken wings and zucchini chips since then and nothing has stuck once. Has anyone else been wasting time greasing the basket like I was?
