Reused a torque wrench on a 172 nose gear and the click felt wrong, so I dug out my beam bar from 2009
Last month I grabbed my click type wrench to snug a nose gear bolt on a 172 and the break just felt soft, so I backed it off and redid it with the old beam bar I bought back in 2009. The beam bar showed I was about 15 inch pounds off what I thought I set, and I have no clue when the clicker drifted. How often are you guys sending your torque wrenches out for calibration, or do you just run them till something feels funny?
