That $50 pruning saw I laughed at saved me 3 hours yesterday
Been using the same $15 folding saw for years. Thought spending more was just paying for a name. Picked up a Silky Zubat on a job site bet last month. Cut through a 10 inch limb in maybe 15 seconds flat. My old one would have taken a minute and left me with a sore wrist. Anyone else find a tool they mocked that turned out worth every penny?

Keep the blade clean and oiled, it'll last way longer than you expect.

Over-oiling just attracts dust and grit, which grinds away at the edge faster than dry rust ever would. Most people ruin blades by babying them too much, not by neglecting them. Leave it a little dirty and it'll still cut fine for years.
