Vent: drove 90 miles to a dark spot in Death Valley and got 3 blurry shots of a rock
Spent last Saturday at a pullout near Stovepipe Wells with my old Canon and a tripod I borrowed from my brother. The moon was supposed to set at 11, but some guy in a van next to me kept his interior lights on until almost 1am and I didn't want to be rude and knock. By the time it got truly dark my lens had fogged up from the temp drop and I got maybe three frames worth keeping. Anyone got a trick for keeping dew off the glass when you're out in the desert overnight?
