That week every Aussie account posted the same bin chicken video

Last month I swear I saw the same 20 second video of a bin chicken stealing a meat pie from a picnic table in Sydney at least 15 times across three different apps. Different captions, same footage. One account added fake crowd noise, another put a dramatic filter over it. It got picked up by a news site and then everyone reposted it again. I get that it's funny, but at what point does a viral hit just become spam? Has anyone else noticed this cycle where a clip blows up and then every second account milks it for a week straight?
