Paid $75 to ship my Civic from Phoenix to San Diego and the driver wanted $200 more at the door
I booked a cheap online quote of $75 for my Honda Civic from Phoenix to San Diego last spring, figuring a short 350 mile haul would be simple. The dispatcher confirmed it, then the driver showed up and said the price was really $275 because of a fuel surcharge he never mentioned, so I paid up since my new job started in two days. Has anyone here actually gotten a quoted price honored at pickup, or is this just how the cheap brokers always work?
