Serious question, solder sleeves or crimp splices on a 737 harness?
Did two identical repins last month at our hangar in Tulsa, one with solder sleeves and one with crimps, and the solder sleeve side has zero resistance drift after 40 flight hours while the crimps are already reading fuzzy on the bond meter. Takes me about twice as long with the heat gun but I'm not going back to crimps on anything that sees vibration. What are you guys running on high-vibe runs?
