I finally closed my business account at Wells Fargo and moved to a local credit union in Reno
Last week I shut down my business checking at Wells Fargo after they hit me with a $15 monthly fee for the third time in six months, even though I keep about $4,000 in there. I went back and forth between a small credit union on Virginia Street and an online bank that had no fees but also no branches. I picked the credit union because I deposit cash from jobs pretty often and didn't want to deal with mailing it in. So far the tellers know my name and the fee is gone, but their mobile app feels like it was built in 2012. Anyone else made a switch like this and regretted it later, or does the branch thing actually matter less than I think?
