Saw a line of people in Austin filming the same wall for a TikTok trend
I was walking down South Congress last weekend and saw about 15 people in a row, all holding up phones to film this one colorful mural. They were doing the exact same dance move from a sound that's blowing up. It made me wonder if these organic-looking trends are actually super staged now. On one hand, it's cool how a simple idea can get everyone involved. On the other, it feels kinda fake when you see the production line in person. Has anyone else watched a viral moment happen live and felt the same weird disconnect?

Wait they were all doing the same dance move too? That's so wild to see in real life, feels like watching robots. Totally gets the weird fake vibe going.

Seriously the exact same move? That's just creepy to watch... like they all got the same programming update. Makes the whole thing feel super fake and planned out.

So what's the end goal with all that? Like what do they get out of making it look so staged?
