Spent $40 on a scheduling tool that promised viral growth, got zero results
Saw this app advertised everywhere, claiming it could time my posts perfectly to hit the algorithm. Thought I was being smart. Paid for the premium plan, spent 2 weeks setting it up, and my engagement actually went down. The scheduled posts looked robotic and people just scrolled past. Asked for a refund and they ghosted me. Has anyone actually found a tool that helps with timing or is it all just luck?

Is it bad that I spent $60 on one of those tools and my posts did so bad my mom texted me asking if my social media was broken? I legit thought I cracked the code but my cat's blurry photos got more likes than my branded content. Feels like these apps just make your stuff look like it was posted by a bored robot from 2015.

You know, I used to think those tools were the missing link, like they'd finally make sense of the algorithm for me. But after watching a friend spend months tweaking his settings and getting nowhere, I started to realize the magic was just in the randomness of real life. His dog's blurry tail wagging video got thousands of views, while his carefully crafted posts with the perfect hashtags barely got a dozen likes. It made me rethink the whole idea of trying to game the system when people just want to see something that feels human.
