Stop copying viral formats without checking if the story is real first

I've seen three big accounts this week take a random tweet, slap a voiceover on it, and call it a breakdown of virality. One of them was literally a fake screenshot from a sketch account. We're teaching people the wrong lessons about why things blow up. I only caught it because I reverse searched the image and found the original post from 2021. How many of you actually verify the source before you dissect a trend? Has anyone else noticed this getting worse lately?
