My roommate started The Wire without me and I moved the router to the hallway
So my roommate Dave and I agreed to watch The Wire together from the start, season one, episode one, no skipping ahead. I come home from work on a Tuesday and he is already on season two, episode four, sitting there like nothing happened. I asked him why and he said he got bored waiting for me to have a free night. I was pretty mad, honestly, because we had a deal and now I know Stringer Bell's whole deal before I even met half the guys on the corners. So I did the petty thing and moved our router into the hallway closet so the wifi dies in his room, and I told him the internet was acting up. He sat through three nights of frozen streaming before he figured it out, and by then I had caught up to episode four of season one on my laptop. Looking back it was dumb but it worked, we are back on the same episode now. Has anyone else had a watch buddy bail on the deal, and did you just give up and finish the show alone?
