My monstera put out its first fenestrated leaf 5 days ago after 2 yrs of waiting
I got this monstera from a tiny plant shop in Asheville back in 2023 as a 4 inch baby and it sat on my windowsill doing basically nothing for two whole growing seasons. Last week I finally spotted one new leaf unfurling with actual splits in it, and I may have yelled loud enough that my roommate came to check on me. How long did it take everyone else's monsteras to start fenestrating, and did moving it closer to a window actually speed it up for you?
