Our new bench finally broke at the park, here's what happened next

Last Saturday I was at Bothell Landing with my kids and noticed the new wooden bench by the river had a cracked support beam, barely two months after it was installed. A couple of us parents flagged it to the city parks crew through the online portal, and they actually replied within 48 hours with a plan to replace it this week. It got me thinking about how many small fixes like this we just walk past and never report. Has anyone else reported something to the city here and gotten a fast response, or is it usually a longer wait?

Wait till winter hits and every other bench in the city starts cracking, then see how fast they care. A support beam on a bench is barely a scratch compared to the actual potholes and busted sidewalks everyone's been complaining about for years.
