Just noticed everyone saying 'vibe shift' for any small change
I was at a coffee shop in Austin yesterday and the barista said they 'vibe shifted' the playlist. It was just a different indie band. This word is getting used for everything now, not just big cultural moments. Has anyone else seen it get watered down like this?

Vibe shift for a playlist" seems like a pretty low bar.

Yeah, the "vibe shift" thing for a playlist change is a perfect example. I used to think it was a useful term for bigger trends. Now it just means someone changed a minor detail.
