Saw a crew in Tulsa running every drop through a 4 foot service loop and it clicked for me
Was doing a job at an apartment complex in Tulsa last week and the crew in the building next to mine had a nice habit. Every single drop they pulled, they left about 4 feet of slack coiled behind the wall plate instead of cutting it tight. I asked the lead guy why and he said 'future me says thanks when a customer moves their TV.' I started doing it on my own installs and it has already saved me one callback in the two weeks since. Any of you leave service loops or do you cut them flush to save time?
