TIL the $19 LinkedIn course I laughed at got my coworker a $12k raise

I told Dana she was wasting money when she paid $19 for some guy's LinkedIn profile course on a Tuesday night in March. She rewrote her headline and started posting twice a week, nothing fancy, just notes from projects she was already doing at the Phoenix office. Six months later she got pulled into a role that paid $12k more and the hiring manager said his team found her through her posts. I still haven't bought the course but I did fix my headline that same week. Has anyone else seen a cheap little course actually move the needle like that?
