Realized I was messing up my portfolio reviews for years

I used to just list all my grooming work in a folder and hand it over, thinking showing volume was the point. Then a shop owner in Austin asked me why I didn't highlight the before-and-after on this one matted shih tzu I did in 2022. It hit me that I was burying my best examples instead of leading with them. Anyone else figure out they were formatting their career materials totally backwards?

Learned that the hard way too, spent a whole year thinking a thick portfolio was a good portfolio until a mentor flipped through it in thirty seconds and said, "Where's the actual work?

Honestly @riveradams, I think a thick portfolio can show range if it's all strong work.
