Why does nobody talk about clamping a straightedge to your workpiece before running a circular saw?
I had to rip a bunch of 8 foot plywood strips for some cabinet sides and my cuts kept wandering because I was just eyeballing the edge. I clamped a 4 foot aluminum level right on my cut line as a guide and suddenly every strip came out dead straight. Do you all build a jig for this or just clamp whatever straight thing is handy?
