A guy at the supply house in Garland said he never glues seams on stretch-in, and now I'm second guessing 15 years of work
Stood in line behind him for maybe 10 minutes. He was buying tack strip and telling the other installer that glue is a crutch and a proper stretch holds the seam by itself. I've glued every seam since I started and never had a callback but he was so sure of himself I drove home thinking about it. What do you all actually do? Is he full of it or have I been wasting glue this whole time?
