Serious question, does anyone else catch homeowners saying 'tackless' when they mean 'tack strip'?
Had a lady in Dayton last month ask if I was gonna use the tackless to hold the carpet down, and I just nodded because I knew what she meant. It cracks me up because the tack strip is literally the thing with the tacks, so calling it tackless is backwards. Any of you bother correcting folks on this or do you just roll with it?
