A guy on the Blue Line told me to live in Pilsen for the food, not the rent, and now I can't unhear it
Was riding the Blue Line home from O'Hare last Tuesday and this older guy next to me heard me on the phone talking about apartment hunting, so he leaned over and said Pilsen would eat my whole paycheck but at least I'd eat good doing it. I laughed it off until I actually looked at 2 bedrooms there going for $1,900 and realized he wasn't joking about either part. So for folks who already made the move, is it worth paying that much more just to be near 18th Street, or should I look at Little Village and just drive over for the tacos?
