Honestly, I spent my first 6 months in Chicago circling blocks for street parking after moving from the suburbs. Then my neighbor told me to check the DPW website for permit-only zones that allow guest passes. I paid $30 for a year pass and now I park in a quiet spot near Wrigley while everyone else fights for metered spaces. Has anyone else tried buying a visitor permit for their own car? It feels like a cheat code but nobody talks about it.

Man, that's exactly the move I stumbled onto near the South Loop last year. I grabbed a visitor pass for my own car and now I've got a reliable spot within walking distance of my office, zero stress on game days.
