Hey everyone, we are moving from Lincoln Park to Lakeview next month and are currently gathering quotes. Has anyone used Reebie or New City Movers? Both gave us pretty comparable estimates, but I want to make sure we go with a reliable crew who won't damage our furniture or ding up the walls. Any experiences with either of these companies?

I used New City a while back. They were okay overall, but they showed up about two hours late to our apartment which threw off our entire schedule for the day. The guys were nice, but the delay was really stressful.

We had a fantastic experience with Reebie when we moved out of our high-rise downtown. They knew exactly how to deal with the strict building management, the COI requirements, and the freight elevator rules. I highly recommend them over the competition, especially if you have heavy furniture or a complicated building setup.
Definitely agree on the building management thing. Reebie is super well-known in the city, so most condo boards already have their insurance info on file. Makes the paperwork side of moving way less of a headache.
