Bought a $350 rotary chimney brush setup and it paid for itself in 3 jobs
I picked up a rotary brush kit with the flexible rods for $350 back in April, mostly for the taller flues I keep running into on older homes in Berkeley. First three jobs alone saved me about 40 minutes each because I wasn't fighting the ladder and extension setup on those steep roofs. The spinning head eats creosote way faster than my old hand brush ever did. Anyone else running rotary setups or do you stick with traditional brushes on certain flue types?
