Tool offset probe drift after a hot weekend

Came in Monday morning and the first part was off by 0.012" on the X axis. Thought it was the material, but the finish looked fine. Checked the tool offset probe and it was reading 0.008" different than Friday when we left. Turns out the thermal expansion in the shop over the weekend, no AC on Saturday, shifted the probe mount slightly. We bolted it down with a second set screw and now it's locked in. Has anyone else had probe mounts wander after a heat soak?

Ha, yeah my probe's done the same thing after a hot weekend. Mine actually shifted enough that I spent an hour chasing my tail before I figured it out. Felt like a real genius that day. The extra set screw is a good call, I just ended up kicking mine and hoping for the best.
