Paid $19 for a Python course on sale and it finally got me past chapter 5
I've been stuck on loops in free tutorials since March, just reading the same examples and nodding along. Last week I grabbed a $19 beginner course from an Udemy sale, mostly because I was tired of bouncing between random YouTube videos. The difference was the little coding exercises after each lesson, so I actually typed out a loop about 40 times instead of just watching someone else do it. I finished the whole loops section in two evenings and wrote a tiny script that renames my photo files. What got you unstuck when you were first learning, a paid course, a book, or just grinding on your own project?
