Traded my 300 issue longbox for a tablet and I still regret it 2 years later

Back in 2022 I moved to a smaller apartment in Columbus and had to choose between keeping my physical collection or going all digital. I had every issue of X-Force from 1991 to 2001, plus some key X-Men books my dad passed down. Sold the whole longbox for $400 to a shop owner who said he'd 'give them a good home.' Bought a tablet and downloaded a bunch of back issues, but it's just not the same. There's no smell, no feeling of flipping through a bag and board, no surprise finding a sketch on an inside cover. The digital reading experience is fine for new stuff, but I miss pulling out that old issue #1 anytime I wanted. Has anyone else made this switch and actually stuck with it, or did you end up rebuying your favorites physically?
