Why does picking a pull box over a comic box feel like a betrayal?

I had to choose between a long box stuffed with my Spider-Man run and a new pull box for my weekly titles. I went with the pull box because it fits on my nightstand, but now I keep second-guessing myself. The long box holds 300 issues, the pull box only does 12, so I'm splitting my collection between the living room and bedroom. Took me 2 hours to re-sort everything after moving 40 books out of the long box. Anyone else split their collection across rooms and regret the logistics later?
