A guy on a fishing forum called my catch photo fake, and his proof was a shadow on a cooler lid
Last month I posted a pic of a 7 pound bass I pulled out of Lake Fork in Texas, and some guy named Dale commented that my photo was photoshopped. He said the shadow on my cooler lid didn't match the sun angle and that real anglers don't post fish that look that clean. I just laughed at first, but he came back 3 more times with these long breakdowns, like he was a detective. The funniest part was when he said he'd been fishing that same lake for 22 years and never saw a bass that size in June. I finally posted a second pic with a ruler and a timestamp, and he just replied with a thumbs up emoji. Has anyone else had a random guy online turn a simple post into a full investigation?
