Can we talk about the "funny" comments that are just straight up mean?
Last week in a viral cooking video, the top comment was someone mocking the cook's weight, not the recipe. Everyone in the replies called it comedy gold, but I saw it as trash. I called it out respectfully and got buried, like 12 downvotes in an hour. Has anyone else noticed the bar for "funny" has dropped to just cruelty?

The "comedy gold" comment was probably funny to a lot of people, even if it was harsh. Calling someone out for being mean just makes you look like the fun police, and honestly, roasting someone in a comment section is pretty standard fare these days.
