Spent $60 on a 'verified' blue check from an account that reposted my art and got caught lying 4 days later
I paid this popular comment section account $60 to verify my small art page, and they screenshotted my DM as proof I was 'endorsed' before the whole thing fell apart. Turns out they had been faking brand deals with 9 other artists, and now my name is in a callout thread with 2,000 likes. Has anyone else gotten pulled into a comment drama just by paying for a shoutout, and did you bother fighting it or just delete everything?
