Swapped my bailout bottle for a 30 inch hose on a dock job in Galveston and hated it at first
Did a shallow inspection job on a dock in Galveston last month and I changed my bailout setup at the last minute, went with a 30 inch hose instead of the short one I usually run. For the first two hours I kept snagging it on the piling hardware and cussing under my breath, thought I had messed up a simple change. By the afternoon I noticed I was way less tense and could reach spots I usually had to work around, and it never once tangled bad enough to worry me. Still not sure if it was the hose length or just a good day in the water, so take that with a grain of salt. Any of you run a longer bailout hose on shallow dock work or do you keep it short for a reason?
