My quick stretch during a PC fix turned into a liquid cooling experiment!
I was swapping out a fried power supply and my shoulders were super tight. So I stood up for a second to twist my torso and shake out my arms. In doing so, I accidentally elbow dropped my half full soda can right into the open tower. Fizz went everywhere, all over the motherboard and new graphics card. I spent the next hour with isopropyl alcohol and q tips drying out components. It was a sticky, silly mess that could have been avoided. Remember to clear your drinks off the bench before you move around, folks!

Wait, you elbow dropped a soda can into your open computer? I mean, that's like the worst possible way for a drink to spill in there. The fizz going everywhere must have been a nightmare to clean up. Idk how you managed to save it with just alcohol and q tips. Maybe it's just me, but I would have panicked way more than you did.

Acting fast is key when liquid gets in your computer. Rubbing alcohol dries quick and cleans without leaving stuff behind. Always let it dry completely before turning it on again.

Honestly the panic set in so fast my brain short-circuited worse than the motherboard. Saw that fizz popping like a tiny soda volcano all over the GPU and just went into robot cleaning mode. My life is a series of these "hold my beer" moments, but this was a real "hold my open computer near my drink" classic. Definitely a new personal record for bad decisions.
