A GC in Columbus told me his software crashed during an inspection and cost him $8,500 in rework
He said the app lost a whole week of daily logs when it synced weird, so nobody could prove the wall was framed to spec. The inspector flagged it, they tore out drywall, and his crew ate the labor. That story is why I still keep a paper logbook in my truck even though I pay for software every month. Anyone here ever had a platform go down mid-job and how did you cover yourself?
