Am I the only one who switched from a paper daily log to snapping photos on my phone for punch lists?
For 3 years I ran punch lists on a clipboard at our Toledo site and lost half the notes, but since I started using a simple photo app with tags, walkthroughs that took 2 hours now take about 35 minutes, and the GC stopped calling me asking what page 4 meant.
My uncle did the same thing with his log for a landscaping crew, except he went the other way. Started with photos, then went back to a small notebook because he said scrolling through 200 pics of the same dirt pile drove him nuts. He ended up using a cheap voice recorder clipped to his shirt, just talked his way through the walk and typed it up at night. Took him maybe 20 minutes total and he never lost a note.
