A client in Phoenix told me my blowouts were causing too much heat damage, so I switched to a lower heat setting and it's been a total game changer.

Game changer? I've actually found the opposite to be true. Lower heat just doesn't get my hair smooth enough, so I end up having to go over sections way more times. That extra passes with the iron probably causes more damage than one good pass with higher heat. My stylist always says it's about technique, not just the number on the dial. I've gone back to my normal heat and my hair looks way better.

Wait, is the real game changer just having good technique? Because I tried the low heat thing and my hair looked like I fought a small animal, so maybe I'm the problem.
