Deleted scene in the Snyder Cut made me hate the theatrical version more
I finally watched the 4 hour Justice League cut on HBO Max last month and there is a deleted scene with Victor's football injury that explains his whole arc. Without that one scene, his anger in the 2017 version comes out of nowhere and I found out they cut it to keep the runtime under 2 hours. That choice cost us any real character motivation and I spent the rest of the movie annoyed at what could have been. Now I check deleted scenes before I judge any film's story, especially superhero ones. Does anyone else feel like the studio edits actually break the plot more than they fix pacing?
