That injector pull in Odessa taught me to quit rushing the torque spec
Was doing a 6.0 job out near Odessa last month and someone's old cross-threaded injector cup had me fighting for 3 hours. I used to zip everything to spec fast but after snapping a bolt in the rail I sat back and walked the torque wrench up in 10 pound steps. Took longer but zero comebacks since. Any of you guys got a stubborn job that made you slow down for good?
