My thrift store vinyl find has me hooked on lo-fi indie again

Last weekend, I was at a thrift store and found a worn-out indie album from the early 2000s. I think it was by a band called 'Car Seat Headrest' before they got big. The cover was torn, but I bought it for a dollar. When I played it at home, the scratches added to the charm of the songs. Now I can't stop listening to it, and I'm digging through my old CDs too. Why does physical media make music feel more personal? Have you had a moment where an old find pulled you back into a music phase?

Totally! Scratches and a worn cover make it feel like the music has a real history. Finding that stuff is way better than just clicking play.

Seriously, does the wear and tear ever make you curious about the people who owned it before?

Does the scratchy sound make you picture its past life too, @max_patel66?
