Vent: Seeing everyone rush through warm-ups made me commit to perfecting my hip hinge before every session.

Mastering that initial hinge movement has transformed my deadlift form and kept my spine safe.

Took a broomstick to the hip hinge last year after being too stubborn to warm up properly. Pulled something dumb and couldn't squat for a month. Now I do that awkward lean every time and my lifts haven't felt better.

Oh man, I feel this so hard. I used to be the king of rushing warm-ups until I tweaked my back doing something stupid. Now I look like a confused flamingo for a solid five minutes just hinging with a broomstick before I even look at the bar. It's embarrassing but idk, maybe it's just me but I'd rather look silly than be stuck on the couch again. That little bit of patience makes the actual lift feel ten times more solid.

God, we all look like a weird zoo exhibit now. Worth it to not walk like a question mark later.
