Realized I had 47 draft apology posts saved from brand disasters
Was cleaning out my Google Drive last night and found I had 47 separate draft apology templates I'd made over the years for different brand fails. Each one was for a different screwup - a mistyped product price, a tone-deaf tweet during a holiday, a sponsorship deal that went sideways. It hit me that I've been watching these PR disasters pop up for like 6 years now, and most brands still make the same 3 mistakes: taking too long to respond, blaming the customer, or being too vague. The number 47 just felt wild because I never sat down and counted them all before. Has anyone else noticed companies still can't figure out basic apology timing?
