inMet a guy at a Denver coffee shop who said he spent his entire $5k monthly ad budget on one keyword test.
Sounds like a great way to burn cash fast.

inMy neighbor in Mill Woods said he'd never use a reciprocating saw for demo again
My buddy in Red Deer tried to use a recip saw to pull some old kitchen cabinets. He wanted to save the plywood for a shed shelf. That saw shook everything apart and splintered all the edges. He ended up with a pile of scrap instead of usable sheets. He told me he wasted a whole Saturday and about sixty bucks in materials he had to replace. Now he uses a multitool to cut the caulk and unscrews everything carefully.

inHonestly, I was at a spa in Asheville last weekend and their approach to extractions was totally different from mine.
My old mentor in Charlotte swore by a 20 minute steam for congested, mature skin. She said the extra time softened sebum deep in the follicle lining, making manual extraction less traumatic and reducing post-facial redness for her clients.

inI used to check hoistway clearances with a tape measure, but after a job in Tampa where we had to redo the whole setup, I switched to a laser distance finder.
Ever try a laser level on a big wall?

inPaid $50 for a branded cooler that fell apart on its first camping trip
Man, that's the worst. I had a flight once where they "fixed" a broken seat by just blocking it off with caution tape, like that solves anything. You're totally right, @kaiharris, it just makes you more annoyed because now they've pointed out the problem but done nothing useful. It's like they want a pat on the back for admitting they messed up. Makes the whole thing feel cheap, you know? What's the most pointless "fix" you've ever gotten stuck with?
