Got food poisoning from a breakfast burrito on Central and now I can't decide if I should name the place or keep quiet
Three Saturdays back I stopped at a little spot on Central near Nob Hill for a bacon breakfast burrito on my way across town, and about six hours later I was curled up on the bathroom floor wishing I hadn't. I called the place the next morning just to let them know, not even asking for a refund, and the guy who answered told me nobody else had complained so it must have been something I ate at home. Thing is, I had eaten nothing else that day, and I sat in that parking lot watching a line of like eight people walk in while I was on the phone. Now I keep seeing their sign when I drive through and I can't tell if I'm being a baby about one bad morning or if people deserve a heads up. Half of me says post the name so folks can decide for themselves, and the other half says one bad burrito doesn't prove anything and I'd just be hurting a small business over a stomach bug. Has anyone else dealt with this where you got sick somewhere local and had to pick between warning people and minding your own business? What made you decide?
