Vent: I lost $150 on that 'historic' ghost tour in Old Town
My sister was in town and I thought it would be a fun local thing to do. We paid for the premium evening tour, but it was just a guy reading from a script and pointing at buildings. It felt like a total tourist trap and lasted maybe 45 minutes. Has anyone else had a bad experience with a local tour, or know a better one that's actually worth the money?

Ugh, that's such a letdown for that much money. I got burned on a food tour last year that was just a guy handing out samples from a grocery store. It's crazy how many of these are just lazy cash grabs. Reading the one-star reviews is the only way to see the real story sometimes. You'd think they'd at least try to make it fun for the price.
