My 30 second grocery store clip got 2 million views and now I can't show my face at work
Last Tuesday I was at the Piggly Wiggly in Mobile, Alabama grabbing a rotisserie chicken. Some kid filming for TikTok caught me trying to catch a falling display of canned beans with my foot. Missed everything, fell flat on my back, chicken went airborne. I didn't even know he filmed it until my cousin sent me the link Thursday night. By Friday morning it had 2 million views. My coworkers made it their Slack profile picture. My boss printed a still frame and taped it to the break room fridge. I laughed the first day, now I just want it to die. Has anyone else had a random clip blow up and make their normal routine impossible? How long did it take people to forget?

You know how long that's gonna follow you? My buddy Dan still gets called "Porch Pirate" at his old job because a Ring cam caught him tripping over a neighbor's Halloween skeleton, and that was three years ago.
